Discuss the question how to lose weight on a one to one basis with other equally committed people.
Help each other to keep your weight loss motivation.
Discuss your diet, weight loss programs and exchange weight loss tips that have worked well for you.
What can a diet community look like?
Of course there are many different forms of diet communities. Simply choose the option that appeals most to you.
Team up with one or more person(s) that you have frequent contact with.
If you have a spouse, friend or colleague that is also equally committed to lose weight at the same time and speed, we recommend that you officially team up. This can be the best option if you know each other well and have established a basis of trust.
You can set a time apart each week to discuss your weight loss programs, progress and goals. You can increase your weight loss motivation and help each other overcome difficulties. Use the telephone or video conferencing if you live too far apart.
Join a great offline diet group like Weight Watchers
You can most likely find a Weight Watchers group close to you. Weight Watchers does not only offer a great measurement system for your nutrition (see the sixth key) but also gives you the benefit of a great diet community.
Join a great online diet group
There are now many great Internet based online diet communities. A huge benefit compared to the other options is that you can join a very large number of people. This means you can get lots of different contacts, ideas and weight loss tips.
