Fricker Diet : another French method to lose weight



There are 2 parts in the Fricker Diet :

-This diet starts with a program TGV, a « high-speed » diet. In a maximum of 8 weeks, a quick weight loss is achieved.

-Then a more moderate phase allows you to stabilize your weight.

Principle :

Dr. Fricker has designed a diet plan in 2 speeds. In the "TGV" (the high speed part),you will lose weight quickly by eating meat, fish, vegetables combined with a small amount of fat, dairy products and fruit.

Bread, sweets and other starchy foods are forbidden. This part of the diet focuses on food rich in protein and low in calories.

The second speed of this regime is more moderate, it allows to lose weight slower but more durably, no doubt.

fricker-diet It can last for several months and can help stabilize after a period TGV. It is therefore an ideal diet for the long term, which, thanks to the starchy food, will satisfy hunger and keep the body in a good shape.

If you prefer to eliminate "slowly but surely," choose this plan. As the first part of the diet, it also provides animal protein (meat, fish, eggs, dairy products), fiber, vitamins and minerals (vegetables and fruits) and essential fatty acids (oil).



Day in high speed

  • Breakfast: coffee or tea, 2 to 4 dairy products, fruit (not pressed)
  • Lunch and dinner: salad or vegetable soup, no fat, meat or fish at will, unlimited vegetables, all served with a spoon tablespoon oil, 1 dairy, 1 fruit

  • Day in moderate speed

  • Breakfast: coffee or tea, bread or whole grains according to appetite, 1 milk, fruit (not pressed)
  • Lunch: salad or vegetable soup without fat, meat or fish at will, unlimited vegetables, one tablespoon oil 1 milk, fruit
  • Dinner: salad or vegetable soup, fat-free lean meat or fish, starchy food, vegetables by volume greater than or equal to that of starch, one tablespoon oil, 1 dairy product, fruit
  • Results

    Women typically lose between 2 and 3 pounds per week, men between 3 and 5 pounds. You can follow the moderate regime (part 2) as long as you want and sometimes go back to the part 1 « high speed ».

    Strenghts of the Fricker diet :

    This system allows you to lose weight by limiting muscle loss. It is made of real meals, which you can eat with your family. Besides its balance and its duration does not jeopardize your health over the long term.

    Some extras are "allowed", for example: a glass of champagne This method provides a great balance in the food habits and prepares to the stabilization phase.

    Weaknesses of the Fricker diet :

    The TGV « high speed part » system does not provide good eating habits. Be careful not to regain the pounds lost. The moderate diet (part 2) is a less restrictive regimes that most, it requires more patience however as it can last up to 6 months.
