Having the right weight loss mindset once you started your diet is absolutely crucial. Your attitude and daily thinking pattern will make the difference!

Let’s think about what it takes to have the right frame of mind for a successful diet program, especially when things are not going so well!

Get into the right weight loss mindset by...

...believing in yourself!
Have faith in yourself: Whatever happens, you can complete your weight loss journey with great success! Acquire a can-do mindset and fill your mind with thoughts why you can achieve your weight loss goal! Tell yourself each morning that this is a great day and that you feel great! Very simple – very powerful!

...accepting responsibility!
Become aware of your existing mindset and the internal conversations you are having. Think about how you developed them and why. Realize that you are in control of the choices you make and that you can learn from mistakes!
Take responsibility for your weight loss and look forward to the changes you will make towards a new and healthy life full of energy!

Check your conversations and keep them positive. Especially the internal conversations!

You stopped losing weight for two weeks...

...and you just caught yourself eating this delicious fat piece of pizza?

– o.k. ...don’t panic!!

Here is what you can do:

Cycle your diet and exercise program!
If you stopped losing weight and are getting fed up with your diet program, well, switch to a different one for a short while. Go from high carb to low carb for a while or vice versa. There are many great diet and exercise programs out there, so mix it up to boost your weight loss again!

Check your weight loss journal for improvement potential!
Are there any bad habits you can eliminate? What diet tips can you try that will get you back on track? For example, try not eating after 6 pm for a while and measure the effects. Keep a strong weight loss mindset to overcome your obstacles!

Be flexible!
If you feel that you cannot reach your weight loss goal with your current diet and exercise program, try a different approach. Think about the factors you don’t like and find a program that suits you better. This happens especially often with the demanding and time consuming low-calorie / high-carb programs.
